When The 3rd  Birthday was announced, I was excited yet confused that it wasn't called Parasite Eve 3 or having Parasite Eve somewhere in the title. To get prepared I went out and bought PS1 copies of Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2 though in true Andy fashion, I never got around to playing them again. Instead I watched Youtube videos and remembered all the good times I had with the series. Going into The 3rd Birthday, I had high expectations to be taken on a very strange yet immersive ride. I came out at the end not knowing what the hell just happened.

I never thought that fighting games should be put on portable devices. I'm not saying that because I don't think it can be done, it's more that they would never be comfortable to play on such a small device. The other big reason being playing opponents online is still an issue on portable devices due to companies not properly having the infrastructure in place to handle online play. Let's face it, playing a fighting game is so much better when playing against a human opponent. Just getting a 3DS in my grubby little hands I wanted to see if Capcom could deliver that console experience in a portable package with Super Street Fighter IV 3DS.

As part of the "House Party" line up of games for Xbox Live Arcade (others being Beyond Good & Evil, Torchlight, Hard Corps Uprising and Bejeweled Blitz Live) Full House Poker is nothing more than a Xbox Live Arcade Avatar poker game. Is it fun? Depends on you.

I am here to jack your mind. Now before you say "jack what?" I am talking about MindJack, a game published by Square Enix and developed by Feel Plus. I was super hyped about this game when it was announced for, what I thought at the time, was an innovative idea. At any time, I can leave my body and jack someones feeble mind and use them to do my dirty work? Can I just hand you my $60 now?

Ever since I gave up my iPhone to switch over to an Android phone, I have missed mobile gaming. Of course I have other options with my DSi as well as my PSP but the games you can find that are truly enjoyable in the App Store are plentiful. I know that there are games as well Android phones as well but very few of them are actually playable.

When I first rediscovered gaming after purchasing an Xbox 360, I never experienced online multiplayer shooters. Up until this point, I never gave much thought to playing other people online competitively in shooters. I was more than happy with playing my RPG's and platforming games and the occasional shooter in my room by myself or with friends that ventured over to pull all nighters. Read more →
