Review: Killzone 2

I know I am late on this and I am sorry. Here is my take on the Beloved (?) Killzone 2.

Killzone 2 starts off with you invading the Heilgast's Homeworld to bring the fight to them. The story of the game follows your team in which you are in control of Sergeant Tomas "Sev" Sevchenko  and the mission is to capture Helghast leader, Scolar Visari.

Now this game has everything going for it. The detail of the levels and character models are excellent. Sound is amazing. Hell even the weapons are sweet. This game, however lacks one very important thing, controls. Read more →

Review: Flower

Flower for the PS3 is not your typical game. Most games we play are intense or stressful to a point. It's what we love. This game is more of an experience than a actual game.

The game revolves around flower pots on a windowsill overlooking an urban landscape. First there is only one flower pot on the windowsill. As you complete each level (which is essentially the flower pot), a new flower pot appears for you to go to and play the next level. There are 6 levels/flower pots in all.

The game is very short but for the $9.99 you spend on it, the game is long enough. Flower takes you for an emotional ride that ranges from happiness, sadness, despair all the way back to happiness. Read more →

Review: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

I figured we would try something new on the site so that we at Handheld Heroes would post more. Therefore, I give you my review of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for the PS3.

Like all the other Naruto games, this one is a fighting game with 3-D cel-shaded graphics. This game is made exclusively for the PS3. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm loosely follows the Anime's storyline up to season 6 where Sasuke and Naruto have an epic battle. There  are 2 modes in the game, Story Mode and a Free Battle mode.
